Write from your own experience.
Reviews should describe a place you visited. Be specific about what helped, what surprised you, or what could be better. Do not post invented visits, paid praise, misleading claims, or a review of your own business.
Be fair to the people in the story.
Criticism is welcome when it is honest and useful. Harassment, discrimination, threats, spam, and personal attacks are not. Leave out private contact details and sensitive information. Get consent before identifying another traveller in a personal account.
Make room for local knowledge.
Conditions, seasons, opening hours, and services change. Avoid presenting personal tips as guarantees. Respect local communities, beach users, wildlife, and the limits of your own experience.
Share what is yours to share.
Publish your own writing. Do not copy another writer’s article or share private business documents. If you reference a source, name it and link to it.
Tell us when something needs attention.
Signed-in members can use “Report a concern” on a listing, review, or story. Reports are stored privately for review. A report does not automatically remove content or establish that a claim is true.
Claims are an introduction.
Only owners, managers, and authorised representatives should request a business claim. Give accurate details and public supporting links. Do not send identity or payment documents through the claim form.
